December 2020, is the year that I told the Universe I was done being broke, that I wanted to be rich and I was willing to learn everything I can about money.
Then I got to work.
I learned how to manage money through trial and error. From paying myself first, budgeting, healing my money mindset, creating effective tax structures, the importance of insurance and emergency savings, etc.
The process wasn’t easy.
Going from feeling financially out of control to in control, takes work, commitment, education and an open mind.
It’s not impossible to go from broke as a joke to a boss with cash, in fact managing money is teachable!
I know that now, because I teach people the very thing that I once was TERRIBLE at through one-on-one coaching and my FREE online course Take Control of Your Money.
If I can get my financial sh*t together, anyone can! I really believe that.
I also believe that managing money is only one piece of the wealth pie.
If you want to make a million dollars or more, not only do you need to master managing money but you need to master creating money.
How is money created? Through sales.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you aren’t willing to learn how to sell what you uniquely offer this world, you’re likely going to financially struggle.
I understand that this can feel daunting and downright disheartening.
You maybe even thinking: “I don’t have time to learn sales! I can’t do sales, it’s so sleazy, and slimy and I refuse to be like one of those scuzzy car salesmen. Yuck! That’s not why I got into this business, pursued this side hustle, choose this creative career path.”
I get it. We’ve all experienced uncomfortable and unforgettable sales experience, that left a bad taste in your mouth.
When I was a senior in high school, I sold Cutco Knives, and the sales manager was so cutthroat, that I quit within the first three weeks. He’s numerous, aggressive phone calls, the pressure to bother my entire network of people in my young adult life, was too much. At age 18, I decided that “Sales wasn’t for me.”
Don’t let one bad sales experience, keep you from unlocking your potential.
I am willing to bet that you have had some lovely sales experiences in your lifetime. I bet you’ve encountered a master salesperson who made you feel completely at ease, while you handed over you hard earned money. A master salesperson has the ability to communicate how their services or products will help you solve a problem, fulfill a want or a need.
How you think about sales matters.
Don’t let your bad feelings about sales keep you from making a sh*t ton of money!
Selling is simply sharing what you have to offer.
SELLING = SHARING
No matter what industry you are in, or what you do, I am sure you are doing what you’re passionate about not only for yourself, but to share it with other people.
What if you could learn how to masterfully share what you do, with more people. Now imagine people happily giving you money because you are HELPING THEM! YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR LIFE!
Wouldn’t that be amazing?
That’s the power of sales!
Over the past year, I’ve been learning about sales and I ain’t gonna lie to you, it ain’t been easy but I do believe it’s worth it.
I am on a mission to make a million dollars in one year doing what I love. And I KNOW THAT THERE IS NO WAY AROUND SALES.
I’ve got to master sales if I want to become a master in creating money. When I told the Universe in 2020 that I was willing to learn EVERYTHING about money, I didn’t realize I was going to have to master sales.
Four years later, here I am fumbling my way through selling. I am learning from excellent sellers who are not only experts in their field but are authentic.
That’s the thing, you can be completely yourself and be great at selling. Don’t think you have to lose your indentity to become great at sales. Your uniqueness is an asset.
Master sellers are teaching me how best to communicate and share my talents, gifts, services and products with the world, and I am totally a rookie at sells right now.
I have tanked multiple sales calls. I’ve said stupid things, I’ve been graspy and afraid. I’ve also learned a lot about what doesn’t work. I’ve succeeded.
It is through making mistakes at sales that I have learned the most valuable lessons. I have learned how to fine tune my messaging. I am getting better at communicating my value and what I have to offer. And I am willing to look foolish, so I can become rich making a difference in people’s lives.
Are you willing to learn sales so that you can make a million dollars+ doing what you love?
Are you willing to fail, make mistakes and fumble your way through a sales call or meeting over and over again, until you finally become an excellent saleperson?

Everyone has to sell some thing in their life whether it’s to get a job or convince your spouse about a project or a purchase or talk to your kids about what they are doing and what you want them to do. It’s all sales you’re selling them an idea or you’re selling them a product or you selling yourself
